I was checking out a guys gallery when suddenly I was shocked to hear " you just won a free walmart gift card" of course being on safari at the time the link never connected. But after doing some investigation, I discovered it was in fact spam, only it was not from an email, or another deviant, it was in the ad in the corner provided by the website itself.

thank you deviant art for being a true sell out.   I had pondered upgrading, but if the ones who decide which ads to accept decided to allow spam on the site itself, I just don't see the need as they are basically offering up the rest of us deviants on their alter of spam at a price.  so while some people at deviantart get paid by knowingly getting others to follow wild goose chases involving their time and money, those in charge get rich off the backs of others. typical talentless hacks.

I call you out if you have the nerve to even respond.

Has anyone else ever seen what superficially looked like something cool, innovative, or just plain out awesome, only to be sorely disappointed, or confused when it turned into something totally different on full view or just opening the preview?

Well I am tired of it, so I am going to start stealing the thumbnail ideas, as it is apparently my own imagination putting them together anyway.

I got a new idea last night so after having it ruined by full view, I quickly sketched it out so that I could effectively use it since it was one of those what the? moments as my idea is like totally different from what the thumbnail actually depicted, now if I can resist the temptation to full view until after stealing the idea first. that way its fresh and untainted by the shock of being a panda bear that I originally thought was an alien Schutzstaffel.

I was trying to submit something for the Scion contest, and its telling me its over, yet their are a full 2 hours left, is it based in Europe or something?
